Second Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Melissa Morgan is proud to announce Hamilton County native, Brianna Wiggins has joined the Second Circuit as a Court Reporter Specialist.
A graduate of Hamilton County High School, Wiggins has studied at the Mark Kislingbury School of Court Reporting. She recently attended the Illinois Court Reporting Services sponsored Court Specialist Education/Training Seminar Session in Springfield which focused on administrative regulations, electronic recording equipment, the new form book, and transcript preparation.
Wiggins will be completing the Illinois Courts’ Court Specialist certification program this summer, and is preparing for the additional certification examination to become an Official Certified Shorthand Reporter. Chief Judge Morgan added, “On behalf of the Judges and Court Reporters of the Second Circuit, we welcome Ms. Wiggins as a Court Reporter Specialist. We are invested in her success as she continues to complete her additional training, and we know she will be a valuable asset to our courts.
