If you believe youth should have the opportunity to get on the right track and build better lives for themselves, we invite you to share in the mission of Southern Thirty Adolescent Center (STAC).
Located near Mt. Vernon, Illinois, STAC is a 30-day, 18 bed, emergency shelter care facility for adolescents 11-18. Using a peer group model, STAC provides emergency shelter care, clinical assessments, counseling and foster care. STAC offers two programs:
Specifically for male youth who live at the facility and are served at STAC 24-hours-a-day. During their stay at STAC, all the youth's nutritional, medical, recreational and educational needs are met.
Specifically for female residents who live in LCFS licensed foster homes from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and participate in the day programs at STAC from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
